Group Commitment

By using services provided by Amanda’s Babysitting Service, LLC d/b/a Stellar Sitters (“Stellar Sitters”), I understand and agree to the following guidelines:

1. I understand that the sitters are independent contractors, not employees of Stellar Sitters, therefore; Stellar Sitters is not responsible or liable for the sitter’s actions at anytime.

2. I will treat the sitters with dignity and respect at all times.

3. I will pay the sitters directly with the understanding that the average rate for a group of kids is currently $20-$25/hour.

4. I will provide specific instructions on how to care for the children.

5. I will contact Stellar Sitters and the sitter(s) at least 24-hours before a scheduled job if I need to cancel. If I cancel with less than 24 hour notice, I will pay the sitter for 2 hours.

6. In order for a job to be worthwhile, there is a 2-hour minimum requirement per job.

7. I will pay the sitter directly for the number of hours he/she is scheduled to work, even if the sitter is released early.

8. If I am dissatisfied with the performance of a sitter I will notify Stellar Sitters in a timely manner.

9. I understand that the success of Stellar Sitters is based upon using the services provided honestly and appropriately, therefore I will not share sitter contact information with others.

10. I will not contact the sitters directly for future sitting needs. If I would like to utilize the sitters again, I will submit another Group Placement Form.

11. I understand that the sitters have been North Carolina background checked. It is my responsibility to conduct additional checks if needed.

12. I will not hold Stellar Sitters responsible for situations that may occur while a sitter is on duty.

By accepting, I verify that I have read, agree with, and am committed to adhering to each of the above guidelines. Failure to do so will result in my being unable to use Stellar Sitters in the future and may result in a breach of contract claim against the client.
